Warming-up before games and training, prepares the mind and body for the challengers of competition matches.

A warm-up should be 10 – 25 minutes long (depending on the activity to follow)

Intensity needs to progress from low to moderate to high intensity activities and exercises; and

Incorporate movement patterns and dynamic stretches that are similar to what you will do in the session to follow.

Every referee should have their own warm up and cool down routines.
